David Keens, Texas Artist of the Year

Professor David Keens established and currently heads the Glass Program at The University of Texas at Arlington. He has been awarded the University’s highest Award for Distingushed Record of Creative Activity, inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Scholars, and received a National Endowment of the Arts Full Individual Craftsman Fellowship.

Perfect Wedding

A man wakes up in the bridal suite on the morning of his wedding day next to an extremely attractive naked girl in bed with his soon-to-be-bride on the way. His best man reluctantly agrees to pretend she is his girlfriend only to confuse the chambermaid for this girl. Throw the bride's daffy mother in the mix and you have the makings of this madcap romp to the altar.
British farce, contains adult situation and innuendo.

Studio logoTeen Arts Underground!

A space for teens ages 13-18 to create digital, literary and visual arts. The Studio is located on the basement level of the George W. Hawkes Central Library. 
 
Teen Arts Underground users will need a Studio ID to use the Studio.  We'll make you one the first time you come in.  Just make sure you bring your library card and a form of photo identification (or the parent/guardian attached to your card with his/her photo identification).

Regular Studio Hours are: 
Monday - Thursday 3-9 pm
Friday 3-6 pm
Saturday 9-6 pm
Sunday 2-6 pm

The Planetarium

The Planetarium at UT Arlington has an amazing 60ft diameter dome, a state of the art projection system and a seating capacity of 165. The Planetarium can project the stars as they look in the real sky as well as immerse the audience into a full dome animation show.

Johnnie High and grandduaghter Ashley SmithJohnnie High's Country Music Revue
Show times are every Saturday night at 7:30 pm

The Johnnie High's Country Music Revue is a weekly country music variety show held at the Arlington Music Hall in Arlington. The Revue has been a success for thirty-three years and features an 8 member cast of singers, a band made up of professional musicians, and back-up singers. The show introduces at least 20 or 25 new performers each month.

Live shows are featured weekly on RFD-TV. Over 200 cable companies, DirecTV and DishNetwork carry RFD. The Johnnie High Country Music Review show airs Friday 8 pm, Saturday 4 am, Sunday 3 pm and Monday at noon. All times are Central Standard Time. Show are also broadcast in High Definition on RFD-TV HD.
