Building Community
The Friends of the Levitt Pavilion Arlington are proud to introduce the vision of free outdoor concerts under the stars, at the new “Levitt Pavilion” in Downtown Arlington. This unique outdoor amphitheater will be the only one of its kind in Texas!
To provide this community gathering place, the City of Arlington has built "Founders Plaza" in the heart of the central business district, directly across the street from City Hall. The Levitt Pavilion has become the dynamic focal point of this central plaza.
Connecting People
This permanent amphitheater, surrounded by a beautiful civic space, is a spectacular gift to Arlington families, creating a unique community gathering place. Because all fifty concerts will be free to the public, the Levitt Pavilion will engage a cross-section of the community. The Levitt Pavilion is a proven model in bringing people together in a safe, family-friendly environment to appreciate the arts and celebrate as a community.
The crowning jewel of Founders Plaza
The Levitt Pavilion at Founders Plaza is located at 100 W. Abram Street and will be the site of at least 50 free outdoor concerts and performances each year, typically during fall and spring. The pavilion sits in front of a large lawn area that can seat about 2,000 people.
Guests attending performances are invited to take blankets, lawn chairs and coolers. Free parking is available by the venue, including at City Hall, the library and the Municipal Office Tower on Mesquite Street.
